Daniel F. Schütz studied law at the University of Berne, where he was admitted to the bar (Fürsprecher) in 1991.
After initial work experience with the Swiss Confederation, Mr. Schütz continued his studies in European law at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB).
He then worked as an associate at Kohn & Aguinier in Paris.
On his return to Geneva, he continued to work in renowned law firms.
Mr. Schütz also acquired expertise as legal counsel to the tariff department of the Geneva University Hospitals. Since 2000, he has been an independent lawyer at the Geneva Bar. In the past, he was also active as Secretary General of an association of asset managers and financial intermediaries, holding several board mandates.
He has also taught law at business schools for over 30 years.
